No. MCU (Media Control Unit) screen gel leakage, also known as “MCU delamination” or “yellow screen edge,” is not covered under our warranty. This issue is caused by aging display adhesive and heat-related breakdown, which is a wear-and-tear component failure, not a high-voltage or drive unit system fault.
Our warranty applies to HV battery systems, BMS components, and Large Drive Unit (LDU) repair or replacement, including both parts and labor, but does not extend to infotainment or display components such as the MCU screen.
Our warranty coverage is offered with a time or mileage limit, whichever comes first. This protects against defects in both parts and labor for the duration of your coverage term. Because every repair and battery, drive unit condition is different, your exact warranty term is presented upfront during your estimate, so you always know what’s included before work begins.
